Masala Aloo Gobi

Masala Aloo Gopi

Cook Time: 30 mins

Serves: 4 people


  • 3 tablespoons Kissan Desi Ghee

  • 1 teaspoon Kissan Curry Masala

  • 1/2 teaspoon Kissan Garam Masala

  • 1 tsp Kissan Desi Ghee or butter  to spread of outside of bread while grilling
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 small cauliflower, separated into florets
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped (adjust to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 slices of your favorite grilling bread
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish




  • Boil the potato cubes and cauliflower florets until they are partially cooked. Drain and set aside.

  • Heat Kissan Desi Ghee in a pan over medium heat.

  • Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chili. Sauté for an additional minute.
  • Add the partially cooked potatoes and cauliflower florets. Cook for 5-7 minutes until they start to develop a golden color.
  • Add 1/4 cup of water
  • Sprinkle the spice blend of Kissan Curry Masala and Kissan Garam Masala over the vegetables. Mix well to coat evenly.
  • Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the Ghee begins to separate.
  • Season with salt according to taste.
  • Cook for a few more minutes until the potatoes and cauliflower are fully cooked and infused with the spices.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve with roti
