Delicious mussels recipe

Make this easy to follow Spicy Mussels recipe. This mussels recipe is simply cooked and served in a sauce made from the cooking liquid infused with Kissan Oil and Spices.

Delicious Spicy Mussels Recipe

Cook Time: 15 min Course: Main/Soup Cuisine: Indian Servings: 4


  • 2 tbsp Kissan Desi Ghee
  • 2 tbsp Kissan Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Kissan Garam Masala
  • 2 lb Fresh Mussels
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 cup White Wine
  • 6 pcs Green Chili, chopped
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Stock
  • Salt to Taste
  • Parsley for Garnish


  1. Rinse the mussels under the cold running water. Pull off any beards and scrape off any barnacles or dirt. Discard open or broken shells.
  2. In a large saucepan, heat Kissan Desi Ghee and Kissan Olive Oil.
  3. Sauté garlic, onion, ginger and chili until golden brown. Add Kissan Garam Masala, tomato Sauce, vegetable stock and white wine.
  4. Cover and bring the sauce to boil for 2 minutes or till sauce thickened.
  5. Add mussels, cover and cook over medium heat or until opened.
  6. Garnish with parsley and then serve.
