Cook Time: 20 mins
Serves: 6 people
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Kissan Madras Curry Powder
- 3 tablespoons Kissan Sesame Oil
- 1 cup long grain rice use basmati rice or Thai jasmine rice
- ½ Onion
- ½ Pepper
- ½ Carrot
- ½ Broccoli
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1-1/2 cup Water
Instructions:
- Heat the Kissan Sesame Oil in a large pan to medium heat.
- Add the onion, peppers, carrots and broccoli, and cook for 5 minutes to soften.
- Add the Kissan Madras Curry Powder, salt and pepper powder. Stir and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the rice and hot water and stir.
- Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the rice has absorbed the liquid and is tender to your preference. If the rice is not done enough, add a bit more hot water and stock and simmer longer.
- Remove from heat and fluff with a fork. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, and serve.
