Cook Time: 50 mins
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Kissan Ghee
- 1 tbsp Kissan Garam Masala
- 3 small russet potatoes
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 1 cup frozen mix veggies
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 puff pastry sheets
- 1 egg with a dash of water for egg wash
Instructions:
1. Cook Potatoes: Prick your potatoes with a fork and boil for 8-10 min. Peel and mash.
2. Sauté: Heat Kissan Ghee in a pan on medium-high. Sauté the onion for one minute.
3. Add Spices: Kissan Garam Masala, and salt. Cook for 2 minutes, then add frozen mix veggies and mashed potatoes. Mix and cook for a few more minutes.
4. Let the filling cool (or prep ahead and refrigerate until ready to use)
5. Prepare Pastry: Roll out the thawed puff pastry on parchment paper.
6. Assemble: Next spread the cooled samosa filling evenly, leaving space on one edge for sealing.
7. Roll & Chill: Roll the pastry tightly into a log and freeze for about 15 mins in order to slice it easier or just leave in the fridge overnight.
8. Slice & Bake: Cut into half-inch rolls and lay them on a parchment-lined tray. Brush with egg wash. Bake for about 17 minutes at 425℉ until golden and crispy.
