Serves: 6 Scones
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp Kissan Tea Masala
- 1/2 cup Kissan Ghee
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup milk (plus extra for brushing)
- 1 large egg

1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and Kissan Tea Masala.
- Add the cold butter cubes and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to work the Kissan Ghee into the dry ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Gradually add this mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead a few times to bring it together. Pat it into a 1-inch thick round.
- Using a round cutter, cut out scones and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Gather the scraps, reshape, and cut out more scones as needed.
- Brush the tops of the scones with a little milk for a golden finish.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the scones are lightly golden.
- Let cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
