You can make your stuffing the way you like it, glaze your turkey how you want, and add anything you want to the potato salad with no judgments.

We’ve put together 5 simple and delicious holiday recipes you can make at home and show-off at the virtual get holiday get together and make your friends and family jealous. These recipes are a twist on classic holiday dishes including Tandoori Brisket, Tikka Mac & Cheese, Eggnog Chai Lassi, and Chat (Chaat) Masala Mixed Nuts, and Garam Smores. So let's get cooking!

1. Tandoori Brisket

If you don't want to spend a lot of time hunting down a holiday turkey that will probably just be for you, then opt-in for Tandoori Brisket. That's right, this holiday don't be shy to switch things up and explore the wonders of another staple dish like brisket. This recipe is more time-consuming than the rest and does require a bit more patience, but hey you have the time now and no pressure of entertaining so even if you mess up, no one will know.

There are so many ways you can make brisket, including using a slow cooker, oven, smoker, and even an air fryer! For this recipe, we will be using an oven and your favorite Kissan Tandoori Masala or Kisna Tandoori Masala (now available in 2 new sizes). Give yourself at least a day to marinate your meat so all the amazing flavors stay locked in for the most tender and juicy brisket.

Tandoori Brisket

Prep Time: 1 hr 10 mins
Cook Time: 3 hrs

Course: Dinner, Main Course
Cuisine: American, BBQ, Indian
Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp Kissan Tandoori Masala or Kisna Tandoori Masala
  • 3-4 lbs Trimmed Brisket
  • 1 1/2 cups Beef Stock
  • 2 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Chilli powder (can substitute chili flakes for more spice)
  • 1 Bay Leaf (crushed)
  • 2 tbsp Honey Mustard

Instructions
1. Combine all your dry ingredients to create your brisket rub for marination. Add your Tandoori Masala, salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, bay leaf and chili powder/flakes. Rub both sides of your brisket completely with your dry rub and place in your baking tray to sit for at least 1 hour. For better taste let this sit uncovered for at least 24 hours.
2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grab your marinated brisket. Fill your baking pan with about 1/2 inch of beef stock. The bottom layer of your brisket should be submerged in stock.
3. Lower your oven to 300 degrees F and cover your pan tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 3 hours. Be sure to keep an eye on your brisket as it cooks, because it can easily be forgotten and become overcooked.
4. As you near the end (about 1 1/2 hours to completion) you can drizzle or spread some of the honey mustard sauce. This will help cut some of the spicy heat in your brisket and add a unique taste.

3. Now add in your cooked macaroni noodles and 1 bottle of Kissan Tikka Masala Cooking Sauce. Mix everything together well until sauce begins to bubble.
4. Take off heat and garnish with your diced green onions!

3. Eggnog Chai Lassi

Eggnog is such a classic holiday drink and each family has a twist that makes it their own and very special. Some add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg, others like it a bit spicier and add brandy or whiskey. However you take your eggnog, you know it's the one thing that reminds you the holidays are here!

This time around let's kick things up a notch and create Eggnog Chai Lassi. This a spin our favorite Chat Lassi Drink but this recipe brings those warm holiday flavors we love! For this recipe, we are using Kissan Tea Masala or Kisna Tea Masala to create a warmer taste. Goes perfectly with gingerbread cookies or Christmas tree-shaped shortbread cookies. Something about the shape of a cookie makes it taste even better!

Eggnog Chai Lassi

Cook Time: 5 mins
Course: Drinks, Snack
Cuisine: American, Indian
Servings: 2 people
Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp Kissan Tea Masala & Kisna Tea Masala
  • 1 cup Eggnog (your favorite brand)
  • 1/2 cup Plain Yogurt

Instructions
1. Blend your eggnog and yogurt slowly. Don't go too fast otherwise it will be very watery. Pour into your cup and stir in your Kissan or Kisna Tea Masala.
2. For extra sweetness, you can drizzle some caramel sauce in the cup before pouring your lassi. Top off with cinnamon powder and stick.

    4. Chat Masala Holiday Nuts

This treat is one that you can send to your friends and family to let them know you are thinking of them during the holiday season. Chat (Chaat) Masala Holiday Nuts offers a crunchy, interesting, and flavorful treat that will have your friends wondering how you came up with such an amazing treat. This takes candied nuts to a new level and will really impress your friends and family.

Fair warning Chat Masala is not known for its appealing fragrance, so if you have never used it before or cooked with it, it can be confusing. However, trust us when we tell you it adds such an amazing zest to each dish it meets.

If you don't want to use Chat Masala you can recreate this snack with our Garam Masala. Both a great to use but trigger different parts of your taste buds. The Chat Masala offers a more tangy, spicy, yet sweet flavor compared to the Garam Masala which gives a more cozy, warm flavor that's familiar in around the holidays. This recipe also works best for nuts that don't have any shelling, like cashews and peanuts.

    5. Garam Smores

Our Garam Smores are the best way to warm up on a cold winter night with a cheesy holiday movie and your Eggnog Chai Lassi. The best part is this recipe is so quick and easy to make and you won't want to share with anyone else!

All you need is an iron skillet (or any baking pan really), Kissan Garam Masala or Kisna Garam Masala , graham crackers, your favorite chocolate, and some marshmallows! A bit of our Kissan Tea Masala (now also available in Kisna Tea Masala) really ties the whole dessert together. For this recipe, we love dark chocolate with sea salt to balance the sweetness.
